Job summary

EMRAD - Radiology Imaging Network are looking to recruit a competent Project Support Officer on a secondment or fixed term full time contract for 12 months to support the EMRAD Programme of work that will support the transformation of radiology services.

The post holder's primary duties will be to provide project support and administrative duties to the various Projects within the Programme portfolio.

The post holder will act as the first point of contact for enquiries from project stakeholders, maintain multiple project libraries, compile project milestone reviews, highlight reports and maintain project plans and project databases. In addition, the post holder will provide administrative support including minute taking. A competent standard of written/typed English including correct use of grammar is essential.

This is an exciting role supporting the development of Radiology services and you will have an opportunity to support a programme which will shape the digital strategy at EMRAD.

You must be prepared to work flexibly and may be occasionally required to to travel between Trusts within the EMRAD Imaging Network.The post holder will not have any direct patient contact but will have access to confidential and sensitive patient information - a standard CRB check will be required for the post. If successful at interview, this will be conducted by the Trust's HR Department but will need to be funded by the applicant (usually deducted from the first months' salary).

Essential

  • 3 grade C or above GCSE or equivalent - including English and Maths
  • ECDL / CLAIT or equivalent
  • You must undertake mandatory training provided by the Trust and any other training deemed necessary to carry out the role
  • Administrative knowledge within the NHS acquired through formal training or experience to diploma level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Project

Desirable

  • ECDL or higher qualification
  • Microsoft Project qualification

Experience

  • Competent in the use of MS Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Can demonstrate experience of producing meeting agendas, taking accurate minutes/meeting notes and action lists within required deadlines
