Job summary
As Liaison nurse for solid tumour oncology you will lead the planning of care and liaison with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless pathway of care for patients and families with solid tumour oncology conditions and other cancer diagnoses.
You will be expected to work alongside the consultants in particular attending MDT meetings and coordinating the clinics for this specialty.
The post holder will be required to collaborate with teams across the East Midlands to ensure patients receive a high quality of service. Most importantly you will be an advocate for the patient and their family.

Essential
- Current level one NMC registration RN (Child) or RSCN
- Possession of a oncology qualification

- Formal Leadership and management training
- masters level training

- At least two years' experience within the speciality

- Ability to convey sensitive information in an empathetic manner to patients, relative/carers and staff.
