Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our outstanding and expanding team at Nottingham Children's Hospital as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neonatal Services. Applications are invited for four posts as Senior Neonatal and QI Fellows commencing August 2023 for a period of 12 months initially, with the possibility of an extension for a further 12 months. With the approval of the MNR expansion project we need to significantly increase the workforce and transform our service provision and bring our current staff on the transformation journey. Successful applicants will have an exciting experience working as a middle grade neonatal doctor in Nottingham Neonatal Service, and also have opportunities to be involved in Quality improvement projects or research.

Main duties of the job

These posts will help with safe transition to the newly expanded Neonatal intensive care unit at Queens Medical Centre, which is due to open in 2024.

This experience should leave candidates well placed for a successful application to join a national training scheme in Paediatrics, or to prepare for GRID applications in Neonatology during a break from Paediatric training.
