Job summary

Would you like to work alongside different clinical teams to support them realise financial savings from making changes to the medicines they use and the ways in which they use them?

Main duties of the job
- To deliver successful implementation of efficiency schemes relating to high cost medicines with the support of the Lead Pharmacist: High Cost Medicines Management.
- To support the Lead Pharmacist: High Cost Medicines Management in managing the approval, appropriate use and audit of high cost medicines not reimbursed by national prices under Payment by Results (PbR).
- To partake in specialised clinical pharmacy duties ensuring core clinical pharmacy activities are undertaken whilst delivering against the medicines optimisation strategy for NUH.
- To line manage and support specifically designated pharmacy staff and the wider medicines management team
