Job summary
Edward 2 is an Elective Orthopaedic Ward and we care for a diverse group of patients who have had orthopaedic surgery.
We pride ourselves on being a supportive team and always strive to do our absolute best for our patients and their families. We also pride ourselves on providing an efficient and quality service; and the Nursing Associate is an integral part of the team.
We have a management team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients. We recognise responsibility to ensure that staff are developed and stimulated within their environment in order to achieve vision and deliver care that reflects the values and behaviours of the team.
Main duties of the job

You should have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, a passion for the delivery of high quality, compassionate care, and be able to demonstrate the ability to help change and motivate others. You will have the responsibility of caring for group of patients with complex needs along side the registered nurse for support and advice.
The candidate will be able to work flexibly in diverse clinical environments maintaining clinical experience. They will also have high level self-management skills, including time management, prioritisation and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build on the networks required for the role.
