Job summary
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Radiology department has a clear vision - to be the leading provider in Imaging Services across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands, delivering excellent, caring, safe and thoughtful healthcare.
Our Radiographers play a vital part in helping to achieve this, and we are looking for committed individuals to join our progressive team.
We require highly motivated and enthusiastic graduates or qualified radiographers, to join our plain film team working at this busy trust which has provides a Plain Film Imaging Service at
-the Queen's Campus (this includes a Major Trauma centre within the Emergency Department)
-the City Hospital Campus.
-the Urgent Care Centre (UCC - London Road )
NUH Radiology offer a full induction with a 12 month supported preceptorship programme. We also have a wide range of established and developing advanced practitioner roles to transform Radiology services and our people. Our Radiographers also achieved the SCoR Midlands/Individual Team of the Year in 2015/2016/2017.
Main duties of the job
This is an excellent opportunity for career driven, dynamic individual who wishes to start or continue their professional career and further their skills in supporting the imaging of a diverse workload in plain film.
You must have the ability to work flexibly on a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week, over a 24 hour/7 day period to match the demands of the service.
We are looking for role models to support our vision, with good communication skills, who can work and think autonomously but also work well in a team. It will be expected that the successful candidate will work, as rostered within all general areas of the department, including theatres and mobile examinations.
It will be expected for you to maintain and develop high standards of patient care, clinical skills and innovation.

The close knit x-ray department provides imaging with the shared vision to look after each other and our patients. We value team working, enjoy each other's company both in work and at social events outside work and are always supportive and friendly.
