Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for COPD Audit and Readmissions Administrator to join our excellent Nurse Lead Team. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, able to accurately input data and confident in the use of technology. The successful candidate will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.

The role is based at City Hospital working Monday to Friday with core hours of 0800-1600 .

Part time/Job share will be considered.

This post offers flexible working with the option of hybrid working fulfilling duties both on and off site.

Main duties of the job

Previous experience of working within a multidisciplinary team would advantageous, You must be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and remain calm under pressure.

You will have an understanding of managing referrals, facilitating patient pathways and clinic/ waiting list bookings. You will also be able to prioritise your workload with constantly changing demands, meet agreed deadlines and use your own initiative. This includes ensuring referrals are dealt with in a timely manner and dealing with enquiries from patients and clinicians in person, via email and on the phone.

  • oTo be educated to 'O' level, GCSE or equivalent standard including English at Grade C.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

Desirable

  • EDCL or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
