This is a unique opportunity to work within Gateway F, Gynaecology/Colposcopy in the Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre based at Nottingham University Hospitals Queens Medical Campus.
Gateway F provides Gynaecology/Colposcopy Ambulatory Outpatient services, providing patients from Nottinghamshire and further, with specialised Consultant and nurse led clinics, in a modern, purpose built environment.
Due to the nature of this role we require a female nurse who is dedicated, patient focused and registered nurse who is committed to providing the highest standards of nursing care for our patients.
You will work closely with all members of the nursing team including, Nurse Consultants, Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and other Allied Health Professionals,contributing to the development of a highly skilled workforce and multidisciplinary team.

We offer a supportive teamwork structure and an opportunity to further your clinical knowledge and skills, gaining competency by assisting in a variety of gynaecology outpatient treatment clinics and ambulatory clinics including Post-Menopausal Bleeding, Post Coital Bleeding, Colposcopy, and General Gynaecology Clinics. Procedures include Outpatient Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy treatments.

Be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care ensuring that these are evaluated and amended as appropriate.
Document the condition and progress of patients and report to medical staff and/or senior nursing staff any areas of concern. Always acts with regard for the privacy and dignity of the patient.
Undertake nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and guidelines.
Demonstrate clinical procedures to registered and unregistered staff as required.
