Job summary
There are exciting Healthcare Assistant opportunities (Full Time) to join our highly motivated, dynamic and hardworking team within Respiratory Medicine on Southwell ward.
Southwell Ward is a 33 bedded male respiratory ward. Our patients come to us from the Respiratory Assessment Unit which operates a 24/7 direct admissions service. We also accept patients from other admissions areas and step down patients from ITU and ARCU. Our patients present with a wide range of respiratory conditions including COPD, asthma, lung cancer and pneumonia. We care for patients with varied clinical needs including those with chest drains, tracheostomies and NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation) and those requiring end of life care.
There would be opportunities to become competent in Venepuncture and Cannulation and ECGs.
