Job summary

Ward E15 are looking for Healthcare assistants to join our team, and work alongside the MDT team to make sure that patient experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

No prior experience is care is necessary as we support you through a healthcare assistant induction and support you to complete the national Care Certificate.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who has a passion for care and who will want to develop further skills in their role.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, forward thinking, caring individuals who are committed to providing a high standard of safe quality patient care.

As you will be delivering hands on patient care within our adult in-patient clinical areas, we are looking for excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with members of the public and the hospital multidisciplinary team.

No prior experience is care is necessary as we support you through a healthcare assistant induction and support you to complete the national Care Certificate.

You will need to:

Hold the right to work in the UK (certificate of sponsorship is not available for this role)

Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks, which can last a number of weeks and includes a medical and criminal record check

Provide assistance to patients requiring toilet facilities, demonstrating respect for privacy and dignity.

Assist patients to mobilise to their optimum ability within Trust policies and under the guidance of the nursing staff.
