Job summary
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen to join the Outpatients team in Ambulatory Care, playing an important role in the recovery and continued improvement of the Trust's 18 week performance.
We are seeking a Pathway Validator to join us as part of our Outpatients administration team that work across the Treatment centre and Abbeyfields, focusing specifically on outpatient RTT validation amongst other performance reports for a set number of specialities. This role will allow for home and flexible working options as and when required.
Main duties of the job
Using Medway PAS, NotIS, CRIS, ERS, DHR and Qlick Sence internal systems carry out weekly validation of outpatient waiting lists to ensure the Trust's Patient Access Policy is being adhered to and to ensure that all patient pathway data is accurate.
Investigate issues with pathways and amend Medway PAS to reflect the correct information in terms of pathway identifiers and RTT statuses.
Alert managers within the team of any data found which does not meet national data standards.
Report unresolved discrepancies/problems or potential breaches of national waiting time and other targets to the Service Manager.
To have knowledge and understanding of operational processes, practices, protocols and new legislative changes in particular around 18 week pathway rules and RTT measurement
To undertake other specialty specific duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures to facilitate the patient pathway in liaison with the Service Manager.
Report on patient data in meetings as required.
Working in a busy office the post holder will be required to work to tight deadlines under minimal supervision.
