Job summary
A new opportunity has arisen in the Neuro-Rehabilitation team for a full time fixed term Specialty PA to support our well-established team.
The position will be based at Linden Lodge City Hospital.
Working as part of a team the post-holders will provide high quality administrative service to consultants and their teams.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have obtained at least five GCSEs grade C or above, including English Language and ideally NVQ Level III in Administration or equivalent experience to these. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and experience of hospital systems including Winscribe, Medway, DHR and NOTIS is desirable. Along with prior knowledge of databases
You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills and be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will be able to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of a busy department.

The post holder will manage the day to day activities for a delegated number of consultants within the Neuro-Rehabilitation Service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Please note that this vacancy is at Linden Lodge City Campus.

They will co-ordinate the consultants clinics along with supporting the consultants in there day to day duties. The post holder will also play a key central role within the services and is required to work in close liaison with NHS colleagues, patients and the general public.
The post holder will also be responsible for the daily update and submission of inpatient data to the national database UKROC, prior database experience is desirable.
