Job summary
An exciting and challenging role has arisen within the Radiology Supplies Team cross site. We require an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our friendly team who are committed to providing an excellent logistic service to the Radiology Department.
A high level of concentration is required for long periods of time and you need to be physically fit as there is constant picking of stock throughout the day. You will need to be enthusiastic, committed and adaptable to change.
A positive image of Radiology Supplies at NUH Trust should be demonstrated at all times while showing a commitment to support the Trust values and behaviours.
Main duties of the job

The post holder will be involved in all matters associated with stores and stock control, from receiving and checking deliveries, stocking up the store rooms, to stock rotation and continual rolling stock take throughout the Radiology department, including Interventional, Ultrasound, Antenatal, CT, MRI and Plain film Radiology, While working alongside the multidisciplinary team within these areas.
A working knowledge of computers is a requirement as the post holder will be using Powergate, Integra and the NHS Supply chain website as a windows based e-procurement and materials management system to control all stock movements as well as Microsoft Excel to analysis and manage stock spreadsheets.
The post holder will be expected to use own judgement and initiative to ensure all matters associated with stores and stock control are prioritised and processed efficiently, This is essential as the successful applicant will be deputising while the Radiology Supplies Manager is on leave.
The post holder must have a flexible approach as there will be a requirement to work in the Radiology department, at both QMC and City Campuses.
