Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated analyst to support the surgical division, providing analytics and information support to all surgical specialties with the Quality & Improvement Agendas and to support the efficient day to day running of services.
The post will also play a key role in the effective delivery and support of the divisions Getting It Right First Time (GiRFT) Programme

The post holder will have very high level of expertise in analysis and presentation of complex health and care data to obtain actionable insight for a wide range of audiences.
Leading projects providing analysis support including:
Workingwith users to understand requirements,identifyingdata sources and analytical techniquestobest meet the needs of the project,taking responsibility for generating specifications and planning analyticalprojects
Designing metrics, establishing measurement requirements to demonstrate success
Designing / delivering analysis for evaluation, identify appropriate data sources and analysis methods
Developing tools supporting data capture, extraction, linkage, analysis and presentation
Providing expertise and advice to senior managers on data/analytical issues for stakeholders including analysis techniques and accurate interpretation
