Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to work as part of a passionate, friendly and successful team with our Planned Investigation Unit and Urology Investigation Unit.

This role is an existing role and will be for 3 full days as part of a job share post. This is a expansion of service showing continued growth within the team, adding an additional role will ensure the current workload and on going developments can be supported.

We are looking for skilled and accomplished individuals with the ability to drive our vision for further improvement. You will need a proven track record of working closely with patients and being able to provide them with the best possible experience while they are under our care.

This role works for a shared reception function across both the Medical and Surgical Business Units.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job

To undertake reception and administrative duties including the accurate and timely recording of patient activity data on Trust systems. To undertake clerical and related duties and enable the lead nurse and other clinical staff to concentrate more freely on direct patient care. This will involve considerable liaison with other departments and wards.
