4288 - Failsafe / OpenEyes Assistant

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with both a keen eye for detail and passion for service development. The successful candidate will drive forward our expanding and developing service to support service development and system implementation ensuring our patients continue to receive outstanding care. Candidates from a RTT/Validation and/or Open Eyes background are encouraged to apply.

Main duties of the job

Data analysis, input and reporting

Review of patient waiting lists and RTT

Implementation and adaptation of Failsafe Policies

Recognition and escalation of Open Eyes training needs

Supporting the Ophthalmology Service with Open Eyes training

Offsite working at our new Town Centre base will be required

  • A demonstrable understanding of the NHS 18 Week target and associated principles.
  • A demonstrable understanding of the NHS Cancer target and associated principles.

  • Experience of delivering 1-1 training.
