This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until 31st March 2026
We are looking to recruit a Practice
Educator to support the nursing workforce across our medical CBU who will share
our enthusiasm and dedication for promoting leadership and education within
clinical teams.
The role will work within clinical
areas to support nursing staff to develop both their clinical and leadership
skills through practical training sessions, in the moment teaching, working
alongside and offering pastoral support.
This is a 12
month fixed term / secondment post. If
seeking a secondment please ensure you have the approval of your line manager
for release.
Main duties of the job
The Practice Educator role is
designed to influence the quality of the clinical environment by providing
support, educational input and development activities for both registered and
unregistered healthcare staff and students on pre-registration training
programmes.
The role aims to enhance the quality
of practice and positively contribute to the current and future healthcare
professional workforce through providing department specific education and
training, and expanding the knowledge base of nursing staff within the
department.The post holder will work in
close co-operation with all members of the Multi-disciplinary team.
