Are you passionate about clinical education and ready for a new challenge? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Clinical Educator to join the team in CBU2, which includes Surgical, Trauma, and Orthopaedics.

This secondment provides an excellent opportunity for professional development in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You will work under the guidance of the Lead Clinical Educator based in ICU, with responsibilities of designing, planning, facilitating and delivering high-quality education and training across CBU2. This will allow you to develop your skills as an autonomous practitioner, whilst also being a key part of dynamic multidisciplinary teams.

This secondment is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a clinical educator role, build on your leadership and management skills, and contribute meaningfully to the development of others in busy and diverse clinical areas.

If seeking a secondment please ensure you have the approval of your line manager for release.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and respond to the educational and developmental needs of staff within CBU2

Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that support clinical excellence

Promote evidence-based practice and lifelong learning within the multidisciplinary team

Support the induction and continuing development of new and existing staff

Collaborate closely with ward managers, senior clinicians, and the wider education team

Contribute to quality improvement and service development through education
