Job summary

Interview date is 25th October 2023

We are looking for an administrator to support the developing governance team within CBU3. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a complete range of secretarial and administrative support on a daily basis and to ensure that systems and work processes are organised, followed and maintained; implementing, secretarial and administrative policies and procedures for Clinical Governance Team.

Main duties of the job

You will need to have good organisation and IT skills and work well to deadlines. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and able to motivate and influence others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proven experience of minute taking and succinct transcription
  • Computer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and other common software packages.
  • RSA Level III or equivalent;
  • Word processing skills;
  • Command of internet and email facilities

Desirable

  • Experience in working in the NHS in relation to governance and quality ie complaints management.

  • Understanding of clinical governance activities,
  • Provision of administrative support.
  • Working with / for senior clinicians making things happen.
  • Experience of analysing problems and problem solving or escalating issues.
  • Experience of using computerised databases.
  • Experience of using Windows-based software.
