We are seeking a confident, experienced nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) with a passion for improving patient care, to join the ICT Innovation Team. This is a uniquechance to lead upon the implementation of key digital projects throughout the Trust, that aim to improve patient safety and also ensure that our staff are working smarter and not harder.
The Clinical Digital Implementers will support theClinical Digital Lead and the Chief Nursing Information Officer in providing clinical leadership and education to a wide range of staff. This new role is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with colleagues locally and nationally.
Working hours are social hours Monday to Friday, with the possibility of unsocial and weekend working during project implementation. There are 2 posts available either fixed term or secondment, until the end of the financial year. Hours are flexible and applicants with a substantive contract have the option of splitting their contracted hours between the digital team and their current role. Internal applicants seeking a secondment need to ensure that they have the support of their line manager and CBU lead. Main duties of the job
You will work within the Clinical Digital Team to provide clinical digital project support and improve digital literacy across the Trust. You will engage with clinicians to optimise clinical digital solutions to improve patient safety, maintain high standards of patient care and also build working relationships with other care providers to work collaboratively for the greater good.
You will need to be approachable and flexible with excellent time management skills to accommodate a varied workload and deliver to planned timescales. Your innovation and ability to support digital solutions will be key in driving forward changes, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients, carers and families.
You will need excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders during the digital transformation process. Your experience, passion, motivation and drive will be key to the successful delivery of the requirements of this leadership role.
In return, you will be supported in your continued professional development with both digital and managerial leadership courses and conferences. You will also have the opportunity to experience working within the corporate team on local, regional, and national initiatives that support the digital nursing and AHPs agenda.
