Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an environment coordinator to work with our existing multidisciplinary team on a permanent basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated environment coordinator to work on the Acorn Intermediate Care Unit. The role of our department is to provide the patients and significant others on the ward with the highest standards of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring high standards of cleanliness is achieved on the unit and working within agreed policy and procedures.
Working hours a week: 30 hours
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within Trust policy, procedures and the standards. As the environment coordinator you will be expected to work alongside other staff in ensuring that the environment issues are addressed appropriately, this will include reporting issues and working with the departmental lead, complete unit standard operating procedures and work closely with other departments at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
