An exciting opportunity exists on the Endoscopy
Unit at Barnsley Hospital for a Band 6 Team Leader.
The role will include management of the unit and
leading the unit in the absence of the Lead Nurse.
We are looking for an innovate and hardworking registered practitioner.
The post holder should have experience and indepth knowledge of endoscopy.
Main duties of the job
Duties to include daily management of the unit, including
staffing, supporting staff attendance.
Budgetary responsibilities for stock items, attending meetings,
dealing with incidents and complaints.
Working alongside our JAG and Clinical Education Leads to
ensure that our unit and staff are performing to high standards.
There will be an expectation for you to cover the oncall
service that will be over and above the contracted hours to ensure 24/7
emergency cover.
There will be further opportunities for you to develop your
skills and abilities within the unit and also external training courses.
