Job summary

Ward 33 are seeking a Registered Nurse with a keen interest in Trauma and Orthopaedics to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialised care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint replacements, and spinal injuries. You will work closly with with Orthopaedic surgeons, Orthogeriatric Consultants, Physiotherapists and Advantced Clinical Practitioners. We work in-line with the Best Practice Tariff for our fractured neck of femour patients to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients.

Communication will be a vital part of your role to ensure safe and holistic care. We take direct admissions from the Emergency Department and also repatriations from other hospitals. The successful candidate will be expected to model and uphold the Trust values and behaviours, providing a positive culture and environment for their

colleagues and patients.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out tasks

The administration and checking of medication

Keeping up to date with all mandatory and role specific training

Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
