We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Co-ordinator to join our Acute Medical Services team. This pivotal role provides comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant Physicians and the wider medical and management teams across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Short Stay Unit (SSU), Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and General Medical Wards (18/21/23).
As the AMU Service Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Liaising effectively with staff at all levels and members of the public.
- Supporting the organisation and workload management of the AMU Consultant.
- Coordinating the Acute and General Medical rotas, including administrative rotas.
- Supervising the AMU/SDEC administration team and reception services.
