Job summary

This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex 21 trainee rate (75%max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.

An opportunity has arisen in the Learning and Development Department Administration team.

You will be involved in the administrative duties to support mandatory training requirements for all Trust staff

You will be required to use the ESR training database, OLM, to record all staff training. Experience of inputting data into a management information system is essential along with the ability to analyse complex information in order to problem solve.

For this role you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.

You will possess NVQ level 2 standard qualification and preferably NVQ level 3.

It is essential that you can demonstrate a flexible attitude towards work providing cross cover to other sections of the department when necessary and the ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service skills.

The position is based at Gateway Plaza, Barnsley for 18.5 per week. The working days and times can be negotiated.

Main duties of the job

Day to day duties will include the use of the learning management (OLM) Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system recording training activity, running reports and ensuring that training requirements are set on positions in order to accurately report compliance.

We require someone with the ability to analyse complex information from ESR Business Intelligence reports in order to identify errors, trends and prepare data uploads to the ESR database. Training will also need to be delivered to other ESR users on the OLM system functionality.

The post holder is required to work closely with trainers and training providers in order to schedule a varied approach to training delivery and ensuring that the courses are accessible and advertised on ESR, SharePoint and the intranet.
