An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to recruit a Staff Nurse to our Acute Stroke unit and care of the elderly ward. We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced registered nurse to join our friendly team.
We are a 28 bedded unit split between joint specialities of acute stroke and care of the elderly. We work closely with the multi disciplinary team comprising of SALT, neuro and medical physios and occupational therapists and dietetics.

Main duties of the job
We are dedicated to Deliver safe, effective nursing care with dignity and respect at the forefront
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
Administer medications and monitor patient progress
Work collaboratively with doctors, therapists, and support staff
Support healthcare assistants and contribute to a positive team culture
Engage in discharge planning and family communication
Take part in ongoing learning and development opportunities
