The Neonatal Unit is committed to providing evidence and researched based family integrated care for our 14 cots, that comprise of 2 Intensive, 3 High Dependency and 9 Special Care

The Unit is currently looking for a Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse to join their existing team. In liaison with the Lead Nurse and other sisters, you will lead and co-ordinate a dedicated team of nursing and support staff in the delivery of a high standard of nursing and family integrated care.

It is essential that you are a RN or RSCN with the Qualification in Specialty in Intensive Care of the New-born course at diploma or postgraduate level and teaching and assessing certificate or equivalent adult teaching certificate. Up to date with newborn life support and willing to undertake relevant training to support and enhance your role.

Main duties of the job

It is required that you have an approachable manner and positive attitude whilst being committed to providing high quality care to the infants and families accessing our services.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for neonatal care. You must be able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and individually, to implement care planning for your patients.
