You will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician, Education & Training and the Lead Pharmacist for Education, Training & Workforce in the co-ordination, implementation, development and delivery of training programmes for pharmacy trainees.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team and has exceptional organisational skills. You must be a great 'people person' and have experience of training others in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a UK hospital.
Although primarily based at King George Hospital, Goodmayes, there will be a requirement to work cross-site and so ability to travel to all premises that BHRUT provides pharmaceutical services is essential.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with senior members of the pharmacy E&T team and the wider pharmacy team to develop and support learners and supervisors, and to ensure an effective, inclusive and innovative learning environment and culture.You will play an essential part in supporting the smooth running of our training programmes for pharmacy support staff undertaking the Level 2 apprenticeship, Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians (PTPTs), Trainee Pharmacists (TPs) and Foundation Pharmacists (FPs). You will also assist with the co-ordination of cross-sector, undergraduate and work experience placements.You will act as an Educational Supervisor, Practice Supervisor and/or Expert Witness as required.
