- HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist with specialist Haematology/Blood Transfusion experience.

The Haematology Department operates across two laboratories, managed as a single service. While staff may be asked to work across both sites, this role will be primarily based at KGH on the 24/7 day and night rota.
Depending on experience, annexe 21 opportunities will be considered for suitable candidates.

Main duties of the job
To perform technical work as required in a section of the laboratory under the supervision of senior BMS staff.

We run a Women's Health Hubin Ilford; an Ageing Well Centrein Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at Barking Community Hospitaland at St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub. These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The majority of our 8,400 staff - who come from 146 different countries - live in the three diverse London boroughs we serve and are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups.
