BHRUT NHS Trust invites applications for an enthusiastic Consultant Neurologist to join our expanding Regional Neurosciences Centre, serving North East London and Essex.
Our specialist service works closely with the cranial neurosurgical team to provide Deep Brain Stimulation and manages a dedicated Neurology ward. The team includes experienced junior doctors and Clinical Nurse Specialists running nurse-led clinics in Epilepsy, MS, Movement Disorders, Botox, and MND.

Main duties of the job
Provide expert care for patients with neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's, and MS. Perform assessments, interpret investigations, and deliver tailored treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and champion patient safety and high-quality care. Stay up to date with advances to drive continuous improvement.

We run a Women's Health Hubin Ilford; an Ageing Well Centrein Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at Barking Community Hospitaland at St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub. These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The majority of our 8,400 staff - who come from 146 different countries - live in the three diverse London boroughs we serve and are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups.
