The post holder will lead the Nursing team in providing care to patients acting under the supervision of the Matron. Main duties of the job
As the Ward Manager you have responsibility for the safe and effective running of the ward, managing demand within current financial expectations. You will be responsible for the recruiting, developing and retainment of your staff and must encourage an open, no blame culture of reporting. Dealing with patients and their relatives well must be a key skill and you will be expected to maintain and present your areas KPI's to the Chief Nurse as well as the division throughout the year.
