Job summary
You will be a self-motivated individual with a friendly and approachable personality and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include training and supervision of junior staff and supporting the Daily Omnicell duties.
The successful candidate will be required to:
o Actively involved in restocking Omnicell cabinetso Training all new users on how to use Omnicell on wards and pharmacy staffo Assisting with maintaining the all Omnicell cabinets within the Trusto To assist in the implementation and running of the Pharmacy stores robot.
You will have the NVQ level 2 Qualification in Pharmacy Skills
The post will require you to work across both our main hospitals Queen's and King George.
The position demands a well organised person, who can multi-task and demonstrate ability to accurately follow instruction and maintain competence in a very busy environment.Previous experience working with Omnicell the NHS is desirable.It would be desirable but not essential of some experience within the Pharmacy store and purchasing environment, although training and guidance will be given to the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job
To provide support for the provision of ward stock and the deployment, maintenance and use of Omnicell within the Trust.To supervise the distribution area within pharmacy store and assist in the provision of a high quality service providing stock medicines to all areas within BHR Trust. The main duties are to ensure the Omnicell cabinets are replenished in a timely, accurate and cost effective manner.

The Elective Surgical Hub at King George Hospital is one of eight to be accredited as part of a national scheme; the Care Quality Commission has raised the ratings forurgent and emergency careat Queen's and King George hospitals; anddata released by NHS Englandshowed that the Trust was the most improved in 2023 for reducing waits for emergency care.
We are particularly proud of our regional Neurosciences Centre; Radiotherapy Centre; Hyper Acute Stroke Unit; and dedicated breast care service at King George Hospital. We're also part of the North East London Cancer Alliance.
