Theatres at Queens Hospital are seeking two Band 6 Qualified Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to join our Neuro and CEPOD theatres. Candidates must have extensive scrub experience and strong organisational skills to manage the emergency theatres during both day and night shifts. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working across various specialties and within our recovery unit.
Our department has 16 operating theatres specialising in Neuro, Pain, Gynaecology, Maxillofacial, Trauma, ENT, Vascular, and General Surgery. As a part of our supportive theatre team, you will play a crucial role.We prioritise continuous learning and professional development, supported by our experienced Education Team dedicated to your growth. This role requires flexible working hours, including early shifts, long days, twilight shifts, and night shifts. Main duties of the job
Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Band 6 Nurses or ODPsWe are seeking two highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Nurses or ODPs with extensive scrub experience to join our team. About us
We provide care for the residents of three diverse London boroughs. Most of our 7,800 permanent staff live in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge and the majority are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups. We also provide healthcare services to people in south west Essex, and specialist neurosciences services to the whole of the county.
