Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Orthodontic team at BHRUT. We are looking for someone motivated and innovative who works well within a team. The service is based at Queens Hospital, Romford. We are flexible on number of PA's and working days.

Main duties of the job

Clinical duties include:

  • New patient and treatment clinics, Whitechapel including their own New patient clinics, MDT clinics and treatment clinics.

As part of SPA activities:

  • All consultants are expected to assume responsibility, both singularly and corporately for the management of junior or attached staff.
  • All consultants are expected to concern themselves with their professional development, both clinical and personal, including appraisal of their trainees (when present), attached staff and support staff.
  • The appointee will contribute to post-graduate education in orthodontics and be actively involved supervising Speciality Registrars and Speciality Doctors in Orthodontics
  • An opportunity will be extended to the appointee to undertake research in which he/she may be interested.

About us

The successful candidate will be expected to work in liaison with others in other clinical departments. The duties will incorporate new patient outpatient clinics and outpatient treatment clinics at Queens hospital.
