IM&T Project Manager (managing the Patient Knows Best, PKB Project).
A position has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our IM&T Programme Team at Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust to deliver the Patient Knows Best application in conjunction with the North East London ICB Personal Health Record programme
The role is based at Queen's Hospital in Romford. However, it may be necessary for the post-holder to travel to, and work at, any of the Trust's and partner sites. While the Trust offers a routine 37.5 hour week - Monday to Friday, the post-holder may on occasions be required to work outside of these hours.
The position is offered on either a fixed term or secondment basis for an initial period ending 31st March 2024. It is anticipated external funding for the post will continue for 24/25 financial year, so there is the possibility of extension.

Main duties of the job
This is a challenging role that requires the post-holder to work with a number of sector-wide healthcare partners with responsibility for the;Production and maintenance of standard project management documentation (e.g., Risks & Issues Log, Project plan, stage reporting etc.)Analysis of change and development of future state processes.Assisting the Project Support Officer in the production of necessary documentation for meetingsProactively monitor and high-light problem trends and known errors while developing a permanent solution.Managing the life cycle of problems from problem identification, through root cause analysis, to the completion of associated remediation tasks of problems resulting from incidentsPlanning, monitoring and reporting progress
The prospective post holder should:
o be qualified to practitioner level in PRINCE2 project management methodology or be working towards gaining this qualificationo have proven experience of successfully delivering projects in the NHSo be an excellent communicator both orally and writteno be able to manage risk and conflicting prioritieso be able to manage and organise her / his own time effectivelyo have full knowledge and understanding of NHS practices
