We have an exciting opening for a Band 3 PAC Supervisor at the Walton Centre. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) offers a dynamic role where you can make a real impact.
What You'll Do: As our PAC Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Access Centre. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing essential supervisory coverage across the office.
Ensuring optimal staffing levels in all areas.
Offering support and valuable training to our dedicated team.
Managing annual leave, sickness, probation meetings, and more.

Registration clerks. Monitor Telephone performance, locate any missing referrals for Outpatient clinics, monitor referral
registration performance and carry out carry out audits as required.

Supervise staff ensuring
the fair distribution of the workload and maximise efficiency of the Patient
Access Centre

Ensure all outpatient referrals are registered
within a timely manner.
3
Ensure adequate cover on the telephone rota.
4
Monitor the accurate and timely inputting
of information onto the Patient Administration System ensuring all satellite
outpatient clinic outcomes are reconciled for month end reporting.
5
Carry out audits as
required monitoring slot utilisation and telephone statistics
6
Monitor department stationery levels and
order as necessary in the absence of the Team Leader.
7
Participate in the
Recruitment & Selection process of new staff, including recruitment of bank
and agency staff ensuring trust policies are adhered to.
8
Record staff absence & sickness on the
departmental log sheet on a daily basis, prepare annual leave cards annually.
Complete back to work interviews as required.

Manage requests for
special leave to include: Carers, Bereavement and Other.
10
Manage requests for
Annual leave ensuring the needs of the service are maintained.
11
Sort, distribute and action as appropriate
incoming mail on a daily basis.

Provide cover for colleagues in the event
of sickness and holidays.
13
Initiate regular team
meetings and develop good communication within the teams and between the
teams.

Carry
out PDRs and appraisals for team members.

Ensure
that all staff attend mandatory training sessions and develop induction packs
and training plans for new staff members.
