Job summary
The successful applicant will be expected to work with the other Neuroradiologists to manage the workload of the department. They are expected to collaborate with the Clinical Director for Neuroradiology, for any service developments, and for meeting service performance requirements. The department of Neuroradiology sits within the Neurology Division and the Divisional Director of Neurology has overall responsibility.
The successful applicant will be expected to collaborate with Neurosurgical teams and Anaesthetists to provide inpatient and outpatient care for neurovascular patients
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have a commitment to diagnostic radiology, including supervising and reporting MR, CT scans and plain film radiology. On-call will be on a 1 in 9 basis for diagnostics. Consultants are first on-call for much of the time.
