Senior Research Support Officer
The closing date is 19 January 2026
Job summary
The renowned TONiC study, one of the highest recruiting studies on the NIHR portfolio, is entering an exciting new stage. Backed by new funding, we will enhance our current model of collecting data using Patient Reported Outcome Measures by adding digital data collection via an app and biosample collection for genetic and other analyses. To support this, we are appointing new posts; this post is for the Clinical Research Practitioner/Clinical Research Nurse who will work with two full time Support Officers to deliver the day to day running of the studies. We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic and adaptable individual who will consistently and reliably work with the PIs and our collaborators in academia and pharma, as well as the researchers who will deliver the study to our participants.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will not be required to have experience in digital data collection or genetic research but must be able to organise their time to recruit and collect data from high numbers of participants, and work with the Data Lead, Study Co-ordinator and labs to provide high quality TONiC data for integration; for more information seehttps://www.finders-study.org/.
