Job summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join our busy physiotherapy service.
As part of the Walton Centre Therapy Service you will join our exceptional multidisciplinary team providing specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation programmes for adults with a variety of neurological conditions. With the potential to rotate through the fields of acute neurology / neurosurgery, acute respiratory / intensive care services and complex rehabilitation you will receive training, support and appraisal from highly skilled, senior physiotherapy staff as well as regular shared learning opportunities across the multidisciplinary team.
Applicants will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be a strong team player with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
These positions would suit experienced junior physiotherapists or newly qualified physiotherapists looking to specialise within the field of neuroscience and rehabilitation.
The Walton Centre is committed to flexible working arrangements across the multidisciplinary teams and as such you will be expected to participate in evening and weekend working including 7 day rotas according to the requirements of the service.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality and comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments and interventions with guidance and supervision from Physiotherapy Team Leads.
- Ensure appropriate evidence based pathways of care and communications via liaison with Medical Teams and referral to other agencies as required.
- To work as an integral member of the Multidisciplinary Team. Working closely with colleagues to achieve optimum clinical outcomes

- To have a clear understanding of the role of a Band 5 Physiotherapist in a specialist hospital.
