Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce a new Post CCT clinical fellow post.
The Fellowship is a full-time clinical development post under the supervision of Dr Richard Haines Clinical Lead for obstetrics.
Key aspects of the role include:
- The ability for the candidate to work autonomously where they are competent to do so
- The opportunity to develop further skills in High risk antenatal care supporting the service in a protected environment
- SPA time to allow CV development.
- An opportunity to develop Quality improvement and leadership skills.
- developing a working knowledge of the regulatory, governance and ethical frameworks relevant to clinical studies in obstetrics.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the full on call rota: ST3 -7 on call is currently a full shift on call on 2 in 20 rota, including 2 sets of 4 weekday nights and 2 sets of weekend nights every 20 weeks and 3 sets of daytime weekend duties in 20 weeks.
The successful candidate would be expected to support the diabetes clinic and so experience in High risk antenatal care and diabetes is therefore an essential criteria for the post.
The post will include SPA time to allow completion of ATSMs or scan modules. The applicant will be invited to take part in, independent CS lists, High risk antenatal clinics and the consultant ward round rota with a consultant buddy/ indirect supervision.
