We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our Neurology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic clinician who is passionate about delivering expert, patient-centred care and advancing specialist practice within a rapidly evolving field.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and support to patients living with a range of neurological conditions. You will act as an autonomous practitioner, offering specialist assessment, complex care planning, and ongoing management across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives on clinical challenge, values collaborative working, and is committed to improving outcomes and experiences for people with neurological disorders. You will play a pivotal role in service development, education, and quality improvement, helping to shape and enhance the neurology pathway for the future.

  • Work autonomously while collaborating closely with consultants, AHPs, and wider MDT colleagues.

  • Provide specialist education, support, and counselling to patients, families, and carers.

  • Lead and contribute to service development initiatives, audits, and evidence-based practice improvements.

  • Act as a clinical resource for nursing teams, offering training, mentorship, and professional leadership.

  • Support smooth patient pathways, ensuring timely access to specialist care and continuity across settings.

  • Participate in research, innovation, and the development of clinical guidelines.
