The role of Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer will provide the Trust with strategic leadership in Information Governance, taking responsibility for ensuring the Trust meets its statutory and regulatory obligations in relation to Information Governance, including confidentiality, information security, Freedom of Information and UKGDPR.
As a Data Protection Officer, the post-holder is required under UKGDPR to operate independently and with autonomy, to report to the Information Commissioner's Office, and independently advise on Trust wide policies and actions.
The role supports information governance requirements for the Trust, the hosted Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance, the Trust subsidiaries and private venture, as well as the regional Diagnostics Network hosted by the Trust
You may be required to work across multiple sites and from home.
