Job summary
The post holder will be a highly motivated and registered practitioner who will identify and facilitate ward based learning and ongoing support for professional clinical development.
36 hours over a 3 day period, with a 12 hour make up shift every 8 weeks to meet the 37.5 hour contract.
Main duties of the job
A key focus of the role is to: Support the co-ordination of the learning experience of clinical colleaguesin order to optimise retention and development of clinical staff Work collaboratively with the Practice Education Facilitator and othercolleagues who support learning and development in the organisation toensure appropriate orientation and induction of new staff, includinginduction training days and completion of mandatory, essential and roleessential training and competencies Support the delivery of preceptorship programmes for newly qualifiedpractitioners and liaise with professionals involved in clinicalpreceptorship programmes in the organisation to optimise resources andlearning opportunities for multi-disciplinary learning.
