Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse - 37.5 hrs, permanent.
Monday-Friday working - 4 days
At the CANtreat Unit we assess and administer SACT treatments for oncology patients who have various different cancers. We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and evidence of continuing professional development. Experience in oncology nursing, cannulation, venepuncture and central line care are desirable for this post. However any individual who has not completed their SACT passport will be given time, support and further training to complete this.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust provides highly-specialist cancer care for a population of 2.4 million people across Cheshire & Merseyside, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.
Main duties of the job
As we deliver treatments in sector hubs and clinics across the Wirral and Liverpool, there will an element of cross cover required during training and once training has been completed. This will include travelling to all of our peripheral sites:

- CCC Wirral
- CCC Chester
- CCC Halton
- CCC Private Unit Wirral
- CCC Private Unit Liverpool
- Clatterbridge in the Community
