Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a talented CT lead radiographer to be based at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool (CCCL) and you will be key in providing the best possible experience for our patients.
Although the Liverpool hospital is our main base, we continue to provide Imaging services at our other site in Wirral and also at the newly opened CDC Paddington.
As CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer, you will be part of a dedicated cancer imaging team which includes Imaging Assistants, Radiographers, modality Clinical Specialists, Radiologists and CT Physicists and will benefit from their experience and expertise.
Main duties of the job
You will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, organisational skills, expert CT knowledge, adaptability and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
In leading the CT team at CCC Liverpool, you will be responsible for the day to day clinical service. You will manage the implementation of legislation in addition to Trust and department policies and procedures including audit, risk management and staff management.
About us
The Radiology department has achieved the nationally recognised QSI accreditation for the Wirral site and this is being extended to our Liverpool main site.
This is a full time post and you will be expected to work flexible to the demands of the service.
