Diagnostic Radiology and Radiation Protection Band 7 Clinical Scientist (or trainee) opportunity
Applications are warmly invited to join our Clinical & Radiation Physics team based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. Our team supports diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation protection and non-ionising radiations and so the post presents opportunity for the successful candidate to develop a portfolio of skills and experience dependent upon their interests.
Ideally you will have HCPC registration and experience in diagnostic radiology physics and radiation protection. Applications from trainee clinical scientists close to completion and registration are also encouraged (appointable at band 6 until registration is achieved). It is desirable that applicants hold a full driving licence as the role requires travel across Cornwall.

We can offer you a rewarding career in medical physics in a supportive working environment; we have a strong history of supporting further professional development and career progression in-house.
Enjoy an outstanding quality of life in a place that offers surfing beaches and fishing harbours to beautiful countryside and historic towns. In a stunning environment with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and excellent schools, colleges and universities (including adult education) it is the ideal place for families and for you to develop your own career.
