Are you a motivated, enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist with experience in Neurological rehabilitation. You could be just the person we are looking for to lead and develop our Speech and Language Therapy service at Marie Therese House.
Main duties of the job
To develop and provide a high standard specialist speech & language therapy service for people withneurological deficits at Marie Therese Houseo To maintain an agreed case load within in the clinical specialism, performing advanced assessment ofneurological patients including those with highly complex presentations. To formulate diagnoses andtreatment plans, as an autonomous practitioner.o To undertake line manager duties for the team.o To work alongside the Inpatient Therapy Manager, the AHP Lead for Stroke and Neurology and the Speech &Language Therapy Professional Lead, in planning, co-coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service.o To be instrumental in the on-going development of services and practices that provide high quality care andinterventions.o To carry out any special duties associated with the post (e.g. representing the therapy service at variousforums).
