We have an exciting opportunity available at West Cornwall Hospital for a registered nurse to join our committed team on Surgical Unit in the Peripheral Sites Care Group.
Surgical Unit cares for people who have undergone day-case surgery. We have 11 specialities. We are seeking applications from nurses who have the ability and determination to learn in these specialities to gain new skills and competencies. You will be working on a ward that provides a positive environment to work in, whilst respecting your contribution to work within a speciality that gives you an opportunity to do what you do best, care for patients.
Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse you will be a key player of the team in decision making for the on-going treatment and care. We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic people that want to ensure the highest of quality in nursing care whilst respecting patient's privacy and dignity.
Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and have a good knowledge and understanding of clinical standards. You must be able to work on your own initiative and also be an excellent team player whilst being prepared to develop as an individual and support others to develop.
