Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Audiologist to join our dedicated team at Royal Cornwall Hospital. As a Senior Audiologist, you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of hearing and balance disorders for patients of all ages. You will take responsibility for complex cases, contribute to service development, and support junior colleagues through supervision and training. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be central to your role, ensuring seamless care and the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Main duties of the job
To undertake clinical assessments on adults, following national and local protocols.
To undertake clinical assessments for pre and school age children in Acute and Community clinics, following national and local protocols.
To fit and verify hearing aids to school age children and adults.
To make clinical decisions for onward referral as necessary, following all national and local relevant clinical pathways.
To support with the testing of children and adults with complex or additional needs.
Supervise and mentor the work of more junior colleagues.
To be the services Audit Lead. To improve and implement the Audit cycle, conducting audits and reporting on findings to help improve and evidence effective and efficient patient care.
