We are proud to share this fantastic opportunity for a Band 4 Nursing Associate to join the Phoenix ward team.
We are seeking applications from Nursing Associates who have the ability and determination to learn, to gain new skills and competencies, who are motivated to develop the highest standards of care and who are committed to continuous improvement.
The Nursing Associate has a breath of knowledge across the lifespan and across fields of nursing, providing holistic and person centred care, and support people of all ages in a variety of settings. Nursing Associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to their area of employment and will work to the NMC Code of Conduct.
Main duties of the job
Work as a member of the multi professional team providing clinical care to patients in the home and community clinic settings as delegated by the registered nurse or registered health care professional.
Ensure a high standard of patient-centred care.
Promote self-management of health needs and adopt a positive risk based care approach.
Carry out all relevant forms of care, without direct supervision, and may be required to demonstrate simple procedures to registered and/or non-registered staff undertaking training where agreed with the nursing team.
Nursing Associates can deliver complex care, defined as patients with complex care needs following a stroke.
